Jesus' Second Coming to the Mount of Olives
Image via WikipediaThere has been a false teaching going around that when the LORD returns in the Second Coming, He will descend onto Mount Carmel. This is not true at all! According the the Book of Zechariah chapter 14, verse 4, speaks that And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives
shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west,
and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall
remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.It does say in
the Book of Amos chapter 1 verse 2,
And
he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from
Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top
of Carmel shall wither. In Amos chapter 9 verse, And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel,
I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my
sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and
he shall bite them:
The recent fires that consumed most of the area in Haifa and Mount Carmel
seems to have brought the judgment upon this place as the LORD had said
in His Word. It is in this place of Mount Carmel stands a architectural
structure and gardens that stretch from Jerusalem to the top of the
mount. This place is called the Baha'i World Center, a shrine for place
of worship and spiritual gathering place of prayer and meditation. It
consists of 7 houses of worship. Why so many in one place? Baha'i
recognizes many religions and deities. Is this what the LORD is angry
about and what he foresaw in Amos 1:2 and 9:3? There is no doubt that
the LORD is bring into judgment the sins of Israel. For 2,000 years
Jerusalem and Israel have followed a false religion. God has called her
back to Him, but she has followed other gods instead.
Many
people don't believe that there is going to be a third temple and that
there will be an early rapture. Also which both events are false and not
true teachings of the Bible. Jesus will not return until the man of
perdition comes and sits in the Holy of Holies and declare himself as
god and make war on the Lamb and his saints. Like Jesus said in Matthew
24: 15-16, when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the
prophet Daniel, stand in the holy place. Let them which are in Judea
flee to the mountains. Just like Israel, America is also in judgment
because she too has followed other false gods. Tribulation is here,
Christians worldwide will be tested for the faith. Jesus tells us to be
spiritually ready for what is to come upon the Earth. In April 20, 2010
BP Deepwater Horizon exploded killing 11 workers. What followed in the
months ahead was not told by the mainstream media. What we are to be
spiritually prepared for is the worst case scenario that is unleashed
from the pits of Hell. When the days come that you have to confront what
is coming your way, will you be ready? If you don't know Jesus Christ
as your LORD and Savior then do so today. You may not have tomorrow.
Eternity is forever. The choice is yours.
