What's Cookin'?

I'm more of a loner in life, but it's nice to make new friends. To get people to love you is show them that you love them by baking them some cookies and sharing them. That's a conversation starter, especially the one's with a special secret ingredient.

They're called Friendship Cookies and they're a cinch to make.

All you need is:
1 stick of butter, softened (no substitutes)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 Domino organic sugar
powdered sugar (confectioner's sugar)
1-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 pinch of love

Cream butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy. Add flour and salt, blending to make a smooth dough. Carefully fold in 1 pinch of love. Press dough into ungreased 8" pie pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees, or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into wedges while warm. Yield: 8 large or 18 small wedges. Wrap them in a nice basket and offer some to your friends. Try one for yourself, too.
