Things They R a Changin'

Arafat and Barak in peace negotiations.Image via WikipediaWell, it's not a good thing nor is it a bad thing. I've come home from Nashville, Tennessee to stay. Mom needs someone around to help her. Just as soon as she retired before June this year she began to have problems walking. It was about a month ago, July, that Israel's prime minister Ehud Barak and PLO head Yasser Arafat meet at Camp David, but fail to reach an agreement. In January this year Israel met with Syria about peace talks but failed as well. It's another election year and it doesn't look good. I know that the elections are set-up to make people think we got the power to vote. When will we learn that the candidates are always selected and not elected into office. It looks that this Republican George W. Bush and running mate Dick Cheney may be the ones. The Republicans are harping that they see a Republican in office this year. Their opponents are U.S. Vice President Al Gore for President and Senator Joe Lieberman for Vice President. We'll see.
